Whiteboards chalk markers

How they used

White and blackboards are used almost identically. A person uses a writing tool on these boards, which usually is placed on a wall, to write words, make diagrams or drawings. However, the tools are not the same. In a traditional blackboard chalk is used, while in specialized whiteboards chalk markers are used. Both chalk and markers come in various colors.

Health problems

Because the use of chalk chalk dust causes that can aggravate allergies, some people do not like wearing the traditional whiteboards. Chalk dust also has to be washing hands after using the black slate. Conversely, they use whiteboards markers and, therefore, do not put any type of dust in the air. Leave no coating need to be washing your hands, so they are considered cleaner.

Reuse

Both boards can be reused as many times as desired. The blackboards are cleaned with drafts that are usually made of chalk felt. Whiteboards are cleaned with special dry erase erasers, and if the marker residue accumulates, is cleaned with a general surface cleaner. Users whiteboards, however, have to be more careful with the writing utensil they choose, and only the whiteboards chalk markers dry erase can be used, because the permanent markers or other markers may not leave the surface of the White board.

Locations

Both boards are most commonly used in schools. Schools that are older or who do not have many funds tend to have blackboards, while new schools or schools with more money tend to have whiteboards. Whiteboards have also come into use in conference rooms, laboratories and police stations.

The white board was invented by Martin Heit, a Korean photographer who came up with the idea while revealing photos in a dark room. Photographer realized he could use a marker on film negatives, and if you ran a damp cloth over the whiteboards chalk markers are easily erased. Heit thought he could use this to put on the wall next to the phone, and take there errand.
